He received his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University-Phoenix in August of 2012. He provides therapy services for individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. In addition, he conducts a wide range of psychological evaluation services including immigration hardship, parent-child custody relocation disputes, and other forensic matters.
Dr. Tsoutsouris has experience working in a juvenile detention center, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse facilities, conducting cognitive rehabilitation with individuals who have experienced brain injuries, and in more generalist settings.
Dr. Tsoutsouris has worked with patients from the age of 9 through 69 on personal and family issues. He has helped patients deal with issues such as posttraumatic stress, addictions, depression, anxiety, disruptive behavior issues, family relationships, and anger management.
Dr. Tsoutsouris works in a collaborative way with his patients to examine the issues and challenges confronting the person from the perspective of the person’s personal and family history. Together they explore how the patient’s history has influenced them. The understanding of how the patient’s beliefs, choices, values, emotions, and experiences have been formative allows therapy to be more efficient in finding and implementing constructive solutions.
